How long do projects take to complete?
On average, basic unscripted projects will take 2-4 weeks from kick-off to delivery. This is dependent on the availability of interviewees and location.
Most scripted projects take between 4-6 weeks from kick-off to delivery. This is due to the addition of scripting, storyboarding, casting and location sourcing. Very specific location and casting needs can sometimes affect timelines due to scheduling conflicts.
Depending on the creative scope and circumstances of the project, we can accommodate quicker turnarounds.
Are there any hidden fees or costs?
No, pricing is transparent and detailed. You'll have a clear picture of all inclusions for the agreed upon budget. Only requests that fall outside the project parameters will incur extra costs. In those instances, you will be notified well in advance in so that you can decide if you want to add to the budget.
What's my involvement, what do you need from me?
Video is a collaborative process and we love having our clients involved.
Initially, we'll provide you with a brief template to fill out and then we'll schedule a call to discuss all the information.
With unscripted videos, the time commitments are minimal and revolve around key moments in the production cycle, such as reviewing edits.
With scripted videos, you can expect weekly meetings to discuss main progress points, if your schedule allows. Otherwise, there will be regular e-mail or Slack correspondence regarding approvals for casting, locations, costumes, etc. Our team streamlines the options for you so that you're looking at what we believe are your best options. It's important to have your insight and approval on these steps as it guarantees we're going into production with a unified vision.
What if I never appeared on camera before?
A very understandable worry. Our team will prep you in advance of the filming day and, on the actual day, they will guide you through the process to ensure you are relaxed, sounding great and looking great.
After about 5 minutes in front of the camera, most people settle into a relaxed state and don't even notice the equipment. Also, our post-production team removes any flubs and stumbles so that none of that is heard in the final product. You can relax and be yourself knowing our team is there to make you look your best.
What happens to my footage?
Once we've delivered and your account has been settled, we can provide you with a copy of all your raw footage. The only cost associated would be for the hard drive and shipping to your location.
What about AI integration?
We stay on top of advancements in AI with an eye on how it can be integrated into our projects. We currently use AI for such tasks as mood boards, storyboards, transcription and captioning.
There are some new integrations on the horizon that will unlock features that can be used to generate elements for commercial purposes.
